Introducing
White Feces Guard™
White Feces Guard™ is a revolutionary 7-day pond treatment that targets White Feces Syndrome at the source. This microbiome-driven water additive stabilizes the pond microbial community, suppresses harmful bacteria, and supports shrimp gut health, quickly reducing white feces symptoms and promoting healthier, more resilient shrimp.
Contact SalesThe Problem
White Feces Syndrome (often called White Feces Disease) is one of the most costly diseases in shrimp farming.
White Feces Syndrome (WFS) causes severe disruptions to shrimp gut health and pond microbial balance.
Common impacts include:
• Reduced growth rates
• Poor feed conversion
• Gut inflammation
• Mortality spikes
• Increased antibiotic use
Despite years of research, the WFS remains a complex challenge for shrimp farmers, making prevention difficult.
Farmers are often left reacting to symptoms instead of controlling the underlying microbial imbalance.
The Luminis Approach
Take care of the water, and the water will take care of you. We focus on the pond microbiome, not just the symptoms.
Disease originates from an imbalance the microbiome, which is the community inside the water of billions of microbes that work together like a net keeping the pond functions working.
When this net is disrupted, critical functions like nitrogen cycling break down, and disease takes hold.
We focus on thisin White Feces Syndrome (WFS) causes severe disruptions to shrimp gut health and pond microbial balance. We developed White Feces Guard using the Luminis microbiome discovery platform, which analyses thousands of microbial genomes using Next Gen Sequencing (NGS) from the aquaculture environment.
Instead of targeting a single pathogen, White Feces Guard works by:
• Rebalancing pond microbial communities
• Outcompeting harmful bacteria
• Supporting beneficial microbial populations
• Improving water and gut microbiome stability
The result is a healthier microbial ecosystem that is better able to manage disease states.

Zero chemicals, Zero Antibiotics, Zero fillers
Whole System Treatment
Colonizes the pond, interacts with native microbes, and regulates microbial dynamics across water to stabilize the entire ecosystem.
Quick Reduction of Symptoms
When time is of the essence. White Feces Guard™ suppresses pathogens in the pond, helping shrimp show fewer white feces signs.
Supports Gut Heath
Shrimp naturally ingest the beneficial microbes from the water, allowing the strains to colonize the gut and help maintain a balanced digestive microbiome.
Improves survival
By creating a stable pond microbiome and reducing pathogen pressure, White Feces Guard™ helps shrimp survive longer under production conditions.
How It Works
By targeting pond microbiome wellness, White Feces Guard™ works in multiple ways to create a stable microbial ecosystem. When introduced into the pond, the beneficial strains colonize the water, interact with native microbes, and regulate microbial dynamics—supporting the key areas highlighted below.
Boost Beneficial Microbes
Our strains compete with harmful bacteria for nutrients and space, limiting their growth in the pond. At the same time, they support the growth of beneficial microbes. Together, this creates a stable and balanced pond microbiome.
Outcompete Pathogens
White Feces Guard™ contains strains that actively antagonize harmful bacteria, producing compounds and interactions that inhibit their growth. This targeted action reduces pathogen populations in the pond, lowering the risk of disease outbreaks.
Breakdown Waste
The beneficial strains in White Feces Guard™ help decompose organic matter in the pond, including uneaten feed and shrimp excreta. By accelerating nutrient cycling and reducing waste buildup, they help maintain a cleaner, more stable pond environment for healthier shrimp.
Resilience Moving Forward
White Feces Guard™ strengthens the pond’s microbial ecosystem, helping it recover from stressors such as temperature shifts, overfeeding, or high stocking densities. A balanced microbiome reduces fluctuations in water quality and pathogen levels, making the pond environment more resilient throughout the production cycle.
Jenny OuCEO, Sankina Aquaculture“We trialed White Feces Guard™ during episodes where white feces symptoms appeared in our commercial ponds. When applied together with proper pond management adjustments — including water quality correction and feeding control — we observed that white feces conditions were reduced within approximately three days.”
Product Information
We use a high-strength mixture of pure microbial spores, including Pediococcus and Bacillus species at 200 billion CFU per gram that are selected to survive in pond conditions and varying levels of salinity. The formulation includes stabilizing nutrients that support the microbes during sporulation, and contains no fillers, so every dose delivers maximum activity. This means farmers use less product while achieving better results—saving both time and money.
Triple Zero Guarantee
White Feces Guard contains zero antibiotics, zero fillers, and zero contamination. Each batch is verified using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) to ensure no pathogens, such as E. coli, are present, which could otherwise create additional pond problems. This guarantees that farmers are introducing only the beneficial strains needed to restore pond balance safely and effectively.
Complete Formula
White Feces Guard contains a mixture of carefully selected Pediococcus, Saccaromyces, and Bacillus strains. Each strain performs a different role in the pond ecosystem—some stabilize the water microbiome, others suppress pathogens, and some support shrimp gut health—working together to create a robust and balanced microbial environment.
All Pond Environments
Our strains are tested and proven to perform across a wide range of pond conditions, including varying salinity levels and high temperatures. When used alongside proper pond management practices, they help maintain microbial balance and suppress harmful bacteria, ensuring consistent effectiveness. With good pond management, farmers can rely on White Feces Guard.
Luminis Performance Strains
Think genomic. Not generic. Our in-house performance strains are carefully cultured and selected to work optimally in pond conditions. They are tested to perform in various saline conditions found in pond environments and across a wide range of temperatures, up to 42C.
Learn MoreFrequently Asked Questions
Have questions about White Feces Guard™? Below are answers to some of the most common questions from shrimp farmers about how the product works, how to apply it, and where it is available. If you need more information, our team is always available to help.
No. This product does not contain antibiotics, chemicals, or fillers. We provide beneficial microbial strains that are selected for performance and are proven to be effective in saline conditions. The lack of fillers is important because the most common filler found in lower concentration probiotic products is maltodextrin, which has been found to disrupt the microbiome.
White Feces Guard™ is a microbiome-driven water additive for shrimp ponds. Apply daily for 7 consecutive days to restore microbial balance. During this time, beneficial microbes colonise the pond, suppress farmful bacteria, and stabilise the microbial ecosystem, which reduce symptoms and improve survival and growth.
Farmers typically observe improvements in pond stability within 3 days.
White Feces Guard is highly concentrated at 200 billion CFU, so you use far less than other probiotics products. For a half hectare pond, 500 grams enough for the full 7 day treatment. One kilogram will treat one hectare. Exact dosing instructions are included with the product. Contact us today for exact information regarding your ponds.
White Feces Guard is currently available in Malaysia. Farmers in other countries can register for pre-sales / early access, allowing them to secure the product as we expand availability to new regions.
